Strengths and skills

-          Working on strengths as opposed to worrying about shortcomings makes sense

-          Studies prove that groups, organizations that concentrate on the skills of the individual do better

-          We are not perfect, so only Superman, the Ubermensch would have all of the vitues listed

-          It also helps to define some of these elements

-          For instance: we can take courage

-          Being brave does not mean not feeling any emotion, fear when confronted with danger

-          On the contrary, it means feeling anxiety, but going ahead with the task anyway

-          In the explanation given by John Cleese for The American Philosophical Society –

-          We are not courageous if bullets are flying and we just stand up, making it likely that we get killed...

-          People who feel nothing- no fear, emotion, passion, etc.- are called psycopaths

-          So again: it is allright to have doubts
